If you have been to one of our On-line or Face-to-Face courses, either as a delegate or a sponsor,  since our very first Australian conference - the 4th General Breast Imaging Meeting in Noosa in 2001 - we wish to thank you for your incredible support over the past 25 years.  It's been an amazing journey and we've made many friends during that time.

We particularly thank:

A/Prof. Jenny Cawson who, on the recommendation of Drs Marjorie & George Kossoff,  had sufficient faith in our services that she appointed TNI as the Conference Manager in Noosa, and with whom we partnered for many years thereafter.  When Jenny was ready to semi-retire it was a pleasure to work with A/Prof Helen Frazer and, more recently, Adj. Clinical Prof. Glen Lo and Dr Cara Odenthal plus the General Breast Imaging Meeting Committee to continue presenting the General Breast Imaging Meeting concluding with the 14th General Breast Imaging Meeting held in Melbourne in 2025.

 

Dr Allison Rose, Director NorthWestern BreastScreen

In 2010 Allison and her team introduced the first Australian workstation based mammography course in Melbourne.  With the success of this under our belt, Allison then introduced the workstation based Breast MRI and CEM courses.  Both the Breast MRI and CEM courses were held in Hong Kong, Australia and, when COVID struck, we pivoted these to on-line courses.  Allison is an incredible educator and researcher and has been instrumental in teaching hundreds of Radiologists on best practice use of Breast MRI and CEM.

 

A/Prof. Clair Shadbolt, Director Pauline Gandel Womens Imaging Centre

As a result of her partnership with Allison, Clair introduced the very successful  Woment's Imaging Courses held in Singapore, Australia and on-line.  Clair brought together experts in the various areas of women's imaging, excluding breast, and the courses were always fully subscribed. Again another incredibly passionate educator and researcher.

Of course there are many others who have been great supporters of TNI.  Most recently Drs Jenny Ellis, Arlene Mou, Bruce Mann, Sally Urry, Donna Taylor, Michelle Reintals to name just a few.   

 

These incredibly dedicated experts have led the way in research and education in the field of the early detection and treatment of breast disease and women's imaging.

It's been an exciting journey where we also had many fun times and met amazing faculty from around the world.  As I now plan to be fully retired by the end of this year I'd like to once again say   A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL!!
